Cristian Segura
Journalist and writer
He presently works for the daily El País as well as taking part in Catalunya Ràdio programmes. He previously worked in Berlin and Beijing and has written for newspapers and other periodical publications including Avui, El Mundo Deportivo and ARA. He has published the novels El cau del conill (Rabbit Burrow) and Ciment armat (Reinforced Concrete) and is co-author of the book Viaje al Ussuri (Journey to Ussuri Land), about the Russian explorer Vladimir Arsenyev. In 2016 he published La sombra del ombú (Shadow of the Ombú, Lectio) a report based on several cases of social responses to suicide.
