Clàudia Pujol

With a degree in Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a master’s degree in International Relations (CIDOB), she has worked in Catalan-language publications for the past fifteen years, first with the magazine Descobrir Catalunya, then Cuina and, finally, Sàpiens, a magazine popularising history, of which she has been editor-in-chief for the past seven years. She was a member of the Commission for Historical Memory of the Barcelona City Council (2012-2016), curator of the exhibition “The World in 1714” at the Barcelona City History Museum (MUHBA) on the occasion of the Tercentenary and, since December 2015, has been a member of the Board of Directors of Òmnium Cultural. She has co-authored the books La guerra de Cuba (The Cuba War, Pòrtic, 2000) and Dissidents (Dèria, 2007) and has written Vides singulars (Singular Lives, Mina, 2005) and Diari d’un forense (Diary of a Forensic Scientist, Mina, 2007). She also contributed to the crime fiction anthology Crims.cat (Alrevés, 2010).
