Carlota Gurt
Translator and writer, with a degree in Translation and Interpreting from the UVIC, a degree in Humanities, Business and East Asian Studies by the UOC, and a degree in Audiovisual Communication by the UAB. She has worked in the performing arts as head of production and assistant director at La Fura dels Baus, and as head of production at Temporada Alta. Her collection of short stories Cavalcarem tota la nit (Edicions Proa, 2019) won the Mercè Rodoreda Prize in 2019. She has also written Sola (Edicions Proa and Libros del Asteroide, 2020), and Biografía del foc (Edicions Proa and Libros del Asteroide, 2023).
