Carles Gilabert

Actor and philologist

He studied Acting at the Nancy Tuñón School in Barcelona. He has worked with the online magazine El Tacte que Té, and has trained in dramaturgy, natural horsemanship, and movement awareness. This year he has been touring with La Virgueria’s Com menja un caníbal and La Tempesta with Parking Shakespeare, a company of which he has been a member. In 2018 he did his first monologue Res em fa major (El Maldà), and he has also worked in Nit de Reis (Teatre Akadèmia), Històries d’Istanbul (Teatre Lliure de Gràcia), at the National Theatre of Catalonia with A tots els que heu vingut, in Titus Andrònic (Teatre Grec), once again with Parking Shakespeare, in Si existeix encara no ho he trobat (Sala Beckett), with Sixto Paz Produccions, and at the Espai Lliure with Paisaje sin casas, once again with La Virgueria.

His audiovisual work includes the TV film Behold the Monkey and the Instagram series Minut Feliç, which was a finalist in the 2020 VOC Sala Oberta Award.
