Bruce Baillie

Bruce Baillie (Aberdeen, 1931) is an American cinematic artist and founding member of Canyon Cinema in San Francisco. In 1961, Baillie, along with friend and fellow cinematic artist Chick Strand, among others, founded San Francisco Cinematheque. His striking body of cinematic work includes such masterpieces as To Parsifal (1963), Mass For The Dakota Sioux (1964), Castro Street (1966), and Valentin de las Sierras (1967).
