Blanca Callén

Blanca Callén is a teacher and researcher in the area of social studies, focusing on science, technology, design and collective political action. In recent years, she has concentrated her work on reducing electronic waste and residue in light of the climate crisis. Her work draws from participative methodologies, critical thinking and ecofeminism. She is a cofounder and active member of Restarters BCN, an association dedicated to promoting alternatives to planned obsolescence and encouraging a culture of repair and adaptation for a more responsible and sustainable Barcelona.
