Aubrey Anable
Aubrey Anable is assistant professor of film studies at Carleton University, Canada. Her research is concerned with changes in visual culture as a result of the irruption of the new technologies. She has published several articles combining feminist theory and history of the digital media, aesthetics, and videogame culture. She is a member of the “Fembot Collective” and is also on the editorial board of the prestigious publication Camera Obscura. She has recently published the book Playing with Feelings: Video Games and Affect (UMP, 2018), which links the domain of affects and emotions with videogames.
