Antoine d'Agata

Photographer

Born in 1961 in Marseille. He lives and works in Paris.

He began studying photography in 1990 at the International Center of Photography in New York where fellow students included Larry Clark and Nan Goldin.

On his return to France in 1993 he gave up photography completely until 1996. His first book, Mala Noche was published in 1998. He made his first video short, Le Ventre du Monde , in 2004 and his most recent book, Manifeste, came out in 2005.

Antoine D’Agata became an Associate of Magnum Photos in 2006.
