Aleksey Yudnikov

Theater and film actor

Ukrainian theater and film actor, exiled in Helsinki due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Yudnikov graduated from the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (RATI-GITIS) in Moscow, and throughout his professional career has worked on several projects with the Mayakovsky Theater and the Stanislavsky Art Theater in Moscow, although he is best known for his performances at the Documentary Drama Theater, Teatr.doc, in Moscow. There he participated in Sasha Denisova's Light My Fire, winner of the Russian Golden Mask Award in the "Experiments" category. Yudnikov has participated in numerous theater festivals, such as Lubimovka, The New Drama Festival at the Meyerhold Centre, Yasnaya Polyana Laboratory and The Big Break at the Praktika Theatre, and has performed in more than 35 films and plays. He is currently a resident of the Barcelona Artistes en Risc project.
