Adriana Bertran

Poet and rhapsodist, she is Poetry Slam champion of Spain and Sub-champion of Europe 2018.

Adriana Bertran (Barcelona, 1985) studied Spanish and English Philology, plus theatre directing and acting. As well as being a slammer of great relevance in Spain and Europe, she has also worked in literary criticism, playwriting and Spanish language education.

As a poetic performer, in 2018 she won the Spanish Poetry Slam competition and has been sub-champion on a European level. She has also published Viaje de Vuelta (2018), a double book of poetry on individual and collective empowerment. Her poems explore the role of the emotions in oppression through an intense stage proposal.
