Adrià Pujol Cruells

Anthropologist and writer.

He has taught at the Universitat de Barcelona and at ELISAVA, linked to the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. As an anthropologist he has curated various exhibitions (Barcelona Ethnological Museum, Diocesan Museum of Solsona), has cultivated the essay genre and is one of the promoters of the Observatory of Everyday Life. As a writer, he has cultivated the genres of the novel, the biography, the short story and the diary. He currently lectures at the Escola Bloom and at the Aula d’Escriptura in Girona, and writes in Avenç and in the Diari de Girona. He has published books like Entre el poder i la màscara. Una etnohistòria del Carnestoltes a Barcelona (Generalitat de Catalunya, 2008), Picadura de Barcelona (Edicions Sidillà, 2014), La gola (Fragmenta, 2020), and Els llocs on ha dormit Jonàs (Editorial Empúries, 2021).
