Xcèntric 2023

This season’s Xcèntric programme is the result of an almost archaeological investigation into the history of documentary, experimental and artiste film, with the aim of giving visibility to a group of films that are unfairly little known, made on the margins of the industry and overlooked by traditional historiography.

Xcèntric. Programme March - May 2023

Xcèntric, the CCCB's cinema, faces the middle of this season with films by Pierre Cleménti, Jayne Parker, Kati Macskássy DeeDee Halleck, Sarah Vanagt, Fernando Birri, Ignacio Agüero, Wener Nekes, Paul Sharits, Jean-Michel Bouhours, Anita Thacher , Barbara Klutinis, Barbara Hammer, Sharon Couzin, Sarah Kathryn Arledge, Dana Plays, Chick Strand, Coni Beeson and closes with a tribute to Haroun Tazieff with a performance by Atier D'Archives Haround Tazieff included.
