Xcèntric Film Club 2024-2025

On the last Wednesday of the month, from October 2024 to June 2025, the 20 group members will meet not just to enjoy different films from the Archive, but also with the aim of expanding their knowledge and capacity for analysis and criticism of unconventional audiovisual material. To democratize the scheduling of films and encourage a horizontal dialogue between film-lovers, each session will be followed by a debate moderated by someone from the organization or one of the film club participants. At the end of each session, the content of the next will be decided collectively.

Participation in the film club gives you the right to attend this season’s Xcèntric screening sessions free of charge. Registration involves a commitment to attend all nine sessions (missing three sessions will mean the loss of your place).

The film club sessions will take place in the collective viewing room of the Xcèntric Archive, a digital film archive with over a thousand experimental avantgarde and artist films, on the first basement of the CCCB.
