Workshop on personal wind power generators

Debate

Free

The wind is a clean and renewable source of energy which has been used since olden times.

The technology to convert wind power into electric energy has experienced a strong development during the last few years, and the big wind turbine generators are already a familiar part of the rural landscape, and even of the seascape. However, the use of small wind turbine generators located in urban spaces that could provide the necessary energy for the domestic environment is not currently very common. This theoretical/practical workshop wants to explain the advantatges of mini-wind power, their multiple implementation possibilities in urban environments and show how a generator can be made in order to provide energy for household consumption.
