Workshop "Let Your Light Shine"

Joining the ranks of the many ephemeral light performance collectives that have joined and separated over the years (Single Wing Turquoise Bird, Joshua Light Show, Skull Light Collective, etc.), participants will engage in a hands-on workshop with DIY light projection.

Students will experiment with reflecting and refracting light through a series of light-militating objects, manipulating various liquid combinations on an overhead projector, creating feedback delays between a video camera, video projector, and slide projector, projecting patterns with light and household objects, cameraless-ish techniques and different projection techniques.
