In the company of sound artist Mikel R. Nieto, we’ll be reflecting on perception, memory and the world of dreams.
This workshop invites us to recover dreams as tools of connection and knowledge at a time when collective dream experiences seem to have disappeared. We will explore how the perception of reality is a spillover that could be likened to expanded states of consciousness but is conditioned by socio-cultural factors and our individual memory.
Using the SonicMaps app, each participant will follow a geolocated sound itinerary, made up of sounds and landscapes designed by the artist himself. The various routes will reveal the network of complex relationships we have with others, with the species that surround us and with the territories we inhabit.
