Vertigo, Momentum: the Swing

There are elements of our sentimental landscape that fluctuate between recreation and mystery. That is the case of the swing, an ancient artifact that we now associate mainly with play and childhood. 

In a back and forth between the public space of children’s playgrounds and the private space of aristocratic gardens, the swing lets us travel down an unprecedented path through the centuries. We will be introduced to that perspective by Javier Moscoso, author of Historia del columpio (Taurus, 2021), in conversation with Isabel Valverde and Patricia Soley-Beltrán.
