The Sun: a natural source of energy

Astronomy workshop for teenagers

The Sun is our planet's main source of energy, and as such we would like to analyze it from two different points of view.

On the one hand, has the Sun any relation to the climate change? Has its way of shedding light changed? And on the other hand, how can we use its energy more efficiently? Examples such as the solar kitchen or the solar car are only a small sample of what can be achieved with this energy.

In occasion of the International Year of Astronomy 2009.

Participants: Anna Artigas
