The Century of the Self

Documentary produced by the BBC which reflects on how we see our own identity since Freud changed the perception of the human mind. Fashions, the superficiality of our lives, consumerism, etc., are some of the subjects which its director, the prestigious producer Adam Curtis, develops along four chapters. The Century of the Self has been granted numerous awards, among them, the Longman Prize to the Best Historic Film of the Year.
