Speaking out in the city

Rap and hip hop workshop with Versembrant

Education

Ten young migrants take part in this project, which aims to raise young people's critical awareness through urban art and hip hop.

Rap is poetry and rhythm, and also a social technique that allows us to write the script for our own life trajectory and build future plans from this narrative. We need to take the floor, heal the wounds, and vindicate our existence in the neighborhood, in the city, and in the world. In this workshop we will learn linguistic and musical resources of rap and hip hop, and we will use them to write, perform and record our own song.

An activity in the framework of the Community Programming of the #RavalEstiuEducatiu.

Participants: Versembrant
