2024 will see the eleventh Serielizados Fest, Barcelona's International Series Festival, which will host a programme packed with series premieres, exclusive screenings, live podcasts, tributes and get-togethers with showrunners, actors and screenwriters.
The eleventh edition of the Serielizados Fest will take place in various venues in Barcelona from the 14th to the 23rd of October and will maintain its online window on Filmin between the 15th and 27th of the same month.
On this occasion, the CCCB will host the premieres of international titles such as Mel Eslyn's Penelope; the new series starring Nicola Coughlan, Big Mood; the exciting Korean thriller Pyramid Game; the adaptation of the famous video game Twisted Metal, or the electric British police thriller The Jetty.
On the occasion of Thomas Vinterberg's presence at the Serielizados Fest, the Oscar-winning filmmaker will offer a masterclass, moderated by director Clara Roquet. Also, following the Serielizados Fest tradition, the festival will pay tribute to one of the most remembered Catalan series, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary: Porca Misèria.
Another highlight of the festival will be the visit of Samuel's creator, Emilie Tronche, who will talk to visual artist Rocío Quillahuaman about the series. There will also be several live podcasts: Les Golfes, hosted by Anna Pazos and Júlia Bacardit, or Pena y Pánico, by La Prados and Raquel Hervás.
