The 7th edition of the festival is presented at the CCCB from October 20 to 25 and also has an online edition (Filmin and Youtube) for the whole country. At Serielizados Fest, the public can enjoy exclusive premieres live, talks with their favorite creators and masterclasses aimed at professionals.
The Barcelona International Series Festival, Serielizados Fest, takes place from October 20 to 25, 2020 in Barcelona and, later, in Madrid (from October 26 to 29). In addition, a large part of the programming is offered online through the Filmin platform and the Serielizados YouTube channel.
The online programming includes premieres of international series and documentaries, unreleased in Spain, talks with world-renowned showrunners and directors and the VII Fiction Pilots Showcase.
For this edition, Serielizados Fest and the audiovisual studio Karabot have designed a Virtual Show; an animated 3D auditorium hosting interviews with international talents. This pioneering initiative aims to offer a more immersive and entertaining digital experience for the viewer. The Virtual Show can be enjoyed openly through the Serielizados YouTube channel.
After the success of last year, Serielizados Fest and GAC (Associated Scriptwriters of Catalonia) meet for a II edition of the Series Pitching Forum during the Barcelona edition.
The festival has also convened the VII edition of the Fiction Pilots Showcase. The best national talent can show their series and webseries in an online and face-to-face competition (in Barcelona and Madrid). In addition, Music Library presents all finalists with one year of free access to its catalog of music and effects, focused on audiovisual production.
