Since 1955, the World Press Photo Foundation has recognised the work of professional photographers, selecting the images that make the biggest contribution to visual journalism. Established in 2011, its Digital Storytelling Contest further promotes and acknowledges new forms of visual narration created by new technologies.

The Photographic Social Vision Foundation offers an open session in the auditorium of the CCCB to screen winning works in the Long and Short categories:

Marielle and Monica, The Guardian

Unprotected, ProPublica

Ghadeer, Chiara Avesani / Matteo Delbò

I Just Simply Did What He Wanted, The New York Times

The Legacy of the “Zero Tolerance Policy”: Traumatized Children With No Access to Treatment, Univision News Digital
