Taking as our starting point Darren Aronofsky’s film Pi, which you can see beforehand at Filmin and excerpts of which will be screened during the session, we explore Llull’s Ars Magna and its connection with present-day fields of computing and artificial intelligence.

Facilitated by: Carlos Tabernero, lecturer in History of Science at the Centre d’Història de la Ciència (CEHIC) of the UAB; Sebastià Giralt, lecturer in Latin Philology at the UAB, and Carles Sierra, lecturer in Research at the CSIC and Assistant Director of the Institut d’Investigació en Intel·ligència Artificial.
