Pedro Costa

Xcentric collaborates with the MICEC on a session devoted to Pedro Costa, whose Juventude em Marcha and 6 Bagatelas have been shown in this year's Rewritings cycle. Few filmmakers have revolutionized contemporary European film like Costa has. This session shows him during the filming of Juventude em Marcha (Tout refleurit) and includes the screening of his last shorts, The End of a Love Affair and Ne change rien (about French actress and singer Jeanne Balibar, with photography by Nobuhiro Suwa and Costa) and his first work, O Sangue, the story of two brothers who, on the death of their father, are pursued by criminals.
