Teresa, a woman in her fifties, goes on holiday to Kenya. She sets out in search of tenderness and love, but discovers that everything she finds on those beaches has to be paid for. She accepts this condition and gets involved in sexual tourism, just another European tourist who travels to Africa with preconceptions of superiority, the living image of post-colonialism.
