MINIPUT 2014

20th Show on Quality Television

Audiovisuals

Free

MINIPUT is an exhibition with the most innovative, provocative, educational and public service-oriented television programs of the year.

The programs that are projected in the MINIPUT are the most suitable for their innovative, committed or experimental approach; because they propose a new television format; because they make use of new technologies or because they have generated controversy. The programs are presented by television professionals and in some cases their directors are present.

SPECIAL SESSION: THE FAKE
Television continues to be an artifact that creates realities and truths. This is how the team behind El Camaleó (1991) suffered, a mockumentary that announced a (fake) coup in the USSR and the death of Mikhail Gorvachev. Program director Joan Ramon Mainat was fired and some of those involved in the program were fired. More than twenty years later, Jordi Évole also used the fake in a Salvados dedicated to 23-F, once again creating a public scandal by suggesting that 23-F had been a film montage, this time reinforced by the multiplier effect of the social networks. In this special session we want to invite its protagonists to talk about their experiences and raise questions about the role of television as a public service.
Guests: Jordi Évole (director and presenter of Salvados), Miguel Ángel Martín (director of El Camaleó, researcher at apps and neurology) and Manuel Delgado (screenwriter for El Camaleó, anthropologist and activist)
Moderator: Ingrid Guardiola (UPF, UdG)
Row zero: Jordi Balló, Andrés Hispano, Fernando de Felipe

The jump to the Net: SOY CÁMARA at MINIPUT 2014

SOY CÁMARA. The CCCB program celebrates its five years on the air with an illustrated debate on the relationship between television and the Internet and the new uses, genres and processes through which we create and share online. Participating as guests are Lolo Rico, scriptwriter and television producer, director of La Bola de Cristal, one of the landmarks of Spanish public television; and Andreu Meixide, director and programming director of the BccN, Barcelona Creative Commons Film Festival, specialized in new narratives derived from the internet. The jump to the Net is a talk open to debate with the audience on television as a public space, a place for training, creation and exchange.
Presented and moderated by: Andrés Hispano and Félix Pérez Hita (SOY CÁMARA)
Guests: Lolo Rico (La bola de cristal) and Andreu Meixide (BccN Film Festival)
