The Words We Don’t Yet Have
Lecture by Mari Luz Esteban
Debate
In this session, the feminist activist and lecturer in Social Anthropology, Mari Luz Esteban, will speak about the role of feminism in recent years and will discuss some of the new challenges it will have to face.
Mari Luz Esteban writes in her most recent book, El feminisme i les transformacions en la política (Pol·len Edicions, 2019), “Feminism has always been active and in transformation, in constant, endless movement. It has been like this until now at least, despite its ups and downs, crises and transformations. Whatever the case, the changes that have occurred in the past ten years are not just a reflection of transformations that have happened within feminism but they also cover general transformations that have taken place in the domains of society and politics.”
