The birth and development of intellectual property law have gone hand in hand with technological evolution. In the 20th century, it underwent an exponential development with the signing of international agreements, the recognition of related rights and the implementation of compensatory remuneration systems, but the last century also marked the start of the digital age, to which it has yet to adapt. What are the challenges and objectives facing intellectual property in the 21st century?
