Agnès Varda (Brussels, 1928 - Paris, 2019) was a photographer, artist and filmmaker, and a pioneer of the Nouvelle Vague. The exhibition traces the life, work and fascinating stories of a free, modern creator who was committed to her political and social environment.

A precursor in the Nouvelle Vague film movementVarda broke with norms and clichés, aiming always to renew her approach. She made over 40 films, including feature films and shorts, fiction and documentary, and embracing both analogue and digital cinema.
