In this second seminar in the "Debates about Representation" cycle we’ll be reflecting on the exhibition Amazonias. The Ancestral Future. Taking part in the session are Nancy Garín and Jesús Arpal.
In this session we open a space for the exchange of knowledge with professionals in the field of culture, artists and thinkers to ask ourselves: what are the notions of nature, territory, peoples and future that we find in the exhibition? How does the geopolitics of knowledge and art operate in the way the Amazon region is narrated from a Western viewpoint? What proposals can we collectively imagine to address the challenges posed by the exhibition and its context?
