Generating through the logic of software/hardware

This colloquium offers different viewpoints of some of the works of artist Iván Marino with the aim of reflecting on certain issues involved in the production of technological art. His work with programmed generative images analyses the scission between facts and representation, and strategies for writing audiovisual discourses. In his generative works, randomness is a structural element that provides a conceptual and aesthetic basis.
