A series of meetings, relations and deaths that take place between Germany and Turkey forge contacts between the fragile lives of six people in search of forgiveness and reconciliation. Nejat doesn’t approve of the relationship his father, a pensioner, has with the prostitute Yeter, but changes his mind when he finds out that the woman sends money toTurkey to pay for her daughter Ayten to go to university. The unexpected death of Yeter creates a distance between the father and his son, who decides to go to Istanbul and find Ayten. Ayten, meanwhile, is a political activist on the run from the Turkish police who is seeking refuge in Germany.
