The ninth edition of the BAFF will be held from the 27th of April to the 6th of May, 2007, and the guest country will be China.
The BAFF is regarded as Europe’s foremost festival specializing in Asian film, thanks to its discerning selection of the most recent film productions. A total of 60 films will be screened in the festival’s six sections (Official, Asian Selection, Special Sessions, Anime Space/Nippon Connection, D-cinema and Guest Country, this year dedicated to China). The BAFF screenings will take place at the CCCB, Aribau Club cinemas, the Tagore auditorium at Casa Àsia, the Espai Social Caja Madrid de Barcelona, FNAC Triangle and FNAC Diagonal Mar.
