Rosemary Bechler
Rosemary Bechler is mainsite editor of openDemocracy, and of the Can Europe make it? section. After being active in the international peace movement as an organizer and a journalist, she joined the openDemocracy team in 2000. She has worked as a freelance commissioning editor for the British Council on key cultural relations issues, including Unbounded Freedom- a guide to Creative Commons thinking for cultural organizations. She has edited the text compilation of the Convention on Modern Liberty (ImprintAcademicm, 2010). She is trained in the delivery of Stafford Beer’s non-hierarchical conference protocol, Team Syntegrity.
