Guided tour for "Artificial Intelligence" exhibition + «The adventure of supercomputing» Workshop

3rd and 4th year of Primary

A commented tour within the exhibition and then a workshop that brings us closer to the basic concepts of the world of computing. Exclusive for 3rd and 4th grade.

Visit to the exhibition and subsequent games workshop run by the Barcelona Supercomputing Center - Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS). An activity for the little ones to learn what a supercomputer is, what it is for, who uses it and the basic concepts of the world of supercomputing. We know that supercomputing is able to store much more data than our minds and process it much faster, is that why it knows the future better than us? Can it make decisions without human input? And if so, do we have anything to fear? The activity aims to contribute to awakening scientific and technical vocations among the youngest and help reduce the gender gap.

This activity is an adapted version of the supercomputing adventure offered by the BSC-CNS. If you come to the CCCB during the exhibition dates, you will also have the opportunity to access the exhibition with a guided tour. If you want to visit the BSC supercomputer, book your session at [email protected] or call 93 851 51 58.
