AI: Artificial Intelligence

Algorithmic Societies

Experts from such diverse fields as history of science, computing, philosophy, and design discuss the human and social transformations that have been resulted from artificial intelligence.

Working with the European project Algorithmic Societies, the CCCB offers a space for multidisciplinary debate on the impacts of AI in contemporary society. With a seminar and two public events, we explore key issues including the ethical aspects of AI applications, the emergence of new political orders, the discriminatory effects of bias in algorithms, and even the possible consequences of this technology for the evolution of our species.
