Vittore Negretto

Architect

Vittore Negretto is an architect, research manager and university lecturer at the Iuav University of Venice. Vittore's research aims to integrate resilience and climate change adaptation principles into urban planning and design, developing innovative strategies to address complex environmental challenges and reduce risks. He has collaborated with numerous academic and governmental institutions on applied research projects funded by the European Union, including LIFE, INTERREG, and HorizonEurope programs. 

Beyond academia, Vittore advises local authorities and private companies on developing climate resilience and adaptation plans, sustainable urban drainage systems, and sustainable regeneration of urban areas. His work includes projects like the adaptation masterplan for Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and the Kismayo and Garowe flood resilience project for The World Bank.
