Victor Demiaux

A historian, he has focused his research on the First World War and the immediate post-war years, in particular, the ritual construction of victory in the European capitals and the impact of the armistice on public opinion. Currently he is head of the Chairman’s Office at the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales – EHESS).
