Valentina Berr

Valentina Berr is a LGBTI educator, an activist for trans rights and a former football player. She is the creator of the podcast La respuesta a todo, a space for open discussion on transsexuality. She was the first trans football player in Catalonia, playing during her career for Terrassa FC, Levante Las Planas and CE Europa, though would retire due to mental health problems brought on by transphobia on social media and the mass media. Through podcasts and educational presentations, Berr is currently dedicated to activism against transphobia and in defence of the normalisation of LGBTIQ+ experiences.
