Uyunkar Domingo Peas Nampichkai

Uyunkar Domingo Peas Nampichkai is an indigenous leader from Ecuador with over three decades of indigenous leadership in the Amazon region. He is president of the Amazon Sacred Headwaters Initiative and member of the Indigenous Nations Confederation of the Ecuadorian Amazon (CONFENIAE). He is cofounder of the Living School of the Amazon (EVA) and the Achuar Nation of Ecuador (NAE), where he worked as communications director. He also cofounded the Achuar community of Sharamentsa and the Achuar Ecuador-Peru binational organization COBNAEP.
