Tau Tavengwa

Architect

Tau Tavengwa is an architect that works as curator and editor with a focus on urban issues across the Global South. He founded Cityscapes Magazine, a periodical focused on exploring and understanding cities in Africa; Latin America and South Asia from the perspective of the wide array of actors that include academics, policymakers, artists, photographers, architects, and activists who work in and have an on-the-ground understanding of the many urbanisms of these regions. It has been a long-standing collaboration with the African Centre for Cities at the University of Cape Town. He is also a co-founder of CS Studio.
