Stefania Battaggia

Stefania Battaggia is director of the Department of Citizen Services, Enterprises, and Quality of Life, which includes the Tourism Sector, in the City of Venice, Italy. She is currently involved in preparing the regulations for the access fee and tourist rentals, and also coordinates the activities of preparing for and participating in national funding from the Italian Ministry of Tourism. She has actively contributed to the EU Urban Agenda's Sustainable Tourism Partnership initiatives, and is also working to facilitate the implementation of three of the six actions outlined in the action plan.
