Souleymane Mbodj

Souleymane Mbodj is a musician, writer and narrator. He was born and grew up in Senegal, and has taken an interest in percussion and the art of writing since he was a child. Nourished in this cultural environment, he soon understood the importance of the word in African societies.

After finishing secondary school, Souleyman studied international economics in Paris. He studied Philosophy and the History of Religion and perfected his musical training in the International Conservatory of Music.

He has published several story books, he has recorded CDs and he has participated in the most well-known music and story festivals in France and Africa.
