Silvia Fernández

Journalist

With a degree in Journalism and a Postgraduate Diploma in Peace and Conflict Reporting from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), she has been working in the Communications Department of Doctors Without Borders for fifteen years. During this time, she has been responsible for reporting on such countries as Colombia, Kenya, India, Bolivia, Somalia, South Sudan, and Yemen, with the Sahel as the main focus of her work in recent years. She has also coordinated reporting campaigns on overlooked diseases and access to medicines.
