Shailini Vora

Outreach Officer for Survival International, the global movement for Indigenous peoples’ rights, in Spain and Abya Yala (Latin America). Shailini’s own experiences of colonial violence, as well as her profound love for Earth, has fuelled her commitment to fighting against the racism, land theft and genocide that Indigenous peoples continue to suffer. Shailini has spent years working alongside grassroots activists; researching, educating and fundraising to uplift anti-racist, feminist, housing justice and prison abolitionist movements. She has a degree in Critical Human Geography from the University of Bristol, UK, and has been published by Palgrave Macmillan on the topic of housing and menstrual justice.
