Scott Wark

Digital culture researcher at the University of Kent

Lecturer in Media in the School of Arts at the University of Kent, Scott Wark holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Warwick's Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies. Prior to joining the University of Kent, he worked as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow for the "People Like You: Contemporary Figures of Personalisation" project, which was funded by a Wellcome Trust Collaborative Award in the Medical Humanities. With Celia Lury and William Viney, he is the co-editor of Figure: Concept and Method (Palgrave, 2022). His research focuses on online culture - particularly internet memes - and on the intersection of digital technology and race and ethnicity.
