Sandra Nogué
Sandra Nogué is Doctor of Biology (Autonomous University of Barcelona). She currently works as a researcher in the Department of Animal Biology, Plant Biology and Ecology (Ecology Unit) of the UAB and the CREAF, where she heads the Temporal Ecology and Biogeography Lab.
Previously, she has taken her research to various universities in the United Kingdom and Norway. More recently she has been coordinating the ERC project Consolidator Island Time-Lines to quantify biodiversity change (TIME-LINES), which aims to explore how, at what speed and why biodiversity changes by studying 5,000 years of changes in biodiversity, as well as the agents of these changes. The results won the Ciutat de Barcelona Prize in Environmental and Earth Sciences 2023.
