Sandra Acosta

Sandra Acosta is a developmental biologist, Director of the Functional Neurogenomics Laboratory of the University of Barcelona/IDIBELL, and lecturer in Human Embryology in the Faculty of Medicine of the UB. Since she was a child, she has been fascinated by understanding how things originate. Throughout her scientific career, she has wondered how the human brain is formed and how it becomes ill.
