Salvador Soto
Professor
ICREA research professor at Pompeu Fabra University, where he combines teaching and research as leader of the CBC’s Multisensory Research Group. His field of research is cognitive neuroscience, working to understand the behavioural and neural processes responsible for integrating the information that reaches the brain from the different sensory systems (sight, hearing, touch...). He has a degree in Psychology and a PhD in Cognitive Sciences and Language. He worked at the University of Oxford and the University of British Columbia as a postdoctoral researcher before returning, as Ramon y Cajal researcher, to the Cognitive Neuroscience Research Group at the University of Barcelona in 2002, becoming ICREA research professor at the Parc Científic de Barcelona in 2005.
